Kaninaskis country
Little creek
This fluffy, furry moss grows on the trees in abundance. It makes the trees look hairy.

What appears to be just a mess is actually an intricate ploy. These trees are desperately supporting eachother in a sophistocated network, fighting valiantly as to not succumb to the embarracement of being fully fallen. Oh the toil! I felt unforbearing and wanted to knock them down and lay them to rest, tehe. I felt all this in quick passing of coarse, only analysing the complexities afterwards. lol, being silly :)
Murphy
This is a squirrel I call Murphy. She/he lives right outside a home I've been working at a lot. Every morning Murphy gets mad at me, chirping from a nearby tree as I break the early morning air with a car door slam. Today Murphy let me get as close as I wanted to take his photo 'cause I told him I would put him on the internet. I kept my word. hehe

weird
So I pulled over in Canmore to snap some shots of the moutains. Took one shot and as I analized the photo on my camera noticed something on the truck beside me......what are the chances, ha! Actually asides from Ellises, it's amazing I typed "Adam Ellis" into google and found there are lots of me's doing all sorts of things, lol. Good thing I was given a middle name, there don't seem to be any Adam Donald Ellises. Phew! Haha.
Lee
This is Lee, one of my bosses. He's awsome, he cooked us some killer steaks. He also made crab. I actaully enjoyed quite a bit of crab. I enjoyed it more than most the seafood I have tried. The garlic butter is key, thanks Lee. The garage behind him is where we whip knives, axes, swords and spears at targets and stuff. Lee has quite a collection, and I love to throw shi*, so it works out well. Beer bottles are fun to throw when you're drunk, haha, be careful it gets wild. lol

My view of animals
I saw this online and liked it...
"We patronize them for their incompleteness, for their tragic fate of having taken form so far below ourselves. And therein we err, and greatly err. For the animal shall not be measured by man. In a world older and more complete than ours they move finished and complete, gifted with extensions of the senses we have lost or never attained, living by voices we shall never hear. They are not brethren, they are not underlings; they are other nations, caught with ourselves in the net of life and time, fellow prisoners of the splendour and travail of the earth." -- Henry Beston, circa 1925

Missed Photo Opp
I spotted this Brown Creeper on lunch break. You can only just make it out if you zoom right in (right side of tree trunk just below center). Notice how it's legs are above it as is hangs back, probing the bark with it's hummingbird like beak. This is why I can't wait to get a telephoto zoom lense. Unfortunately, apparently the 70-300mm is on back order from Nikon for about three months. Balderdash! I was getting pretty darn close to that bird as he spiraled up various tree trunks, but I just couldn't do it with my 18 -55mm. I'm annoyed at this lense situation, but I must research it more. Anyhow, atleast I got to see this uncommon/illusive little critter.
co-horts
Two friends from work. Colin, on the left, is a really funny guy. Mark is trying not to bust a gutt; so am I, as I snap the photo.

Remembering last summer
These are a bunch of shots my friend Aaron Hemeon took last summer at Marshall's Bay and Bella Lake cottages. Aaron has a good eye for photos.

Zippers
Work Environment
This is my bosses property where I spend about 50% of my days. His house is in the background and the shops are in the foreground. The smaller of the two is the older shop. The new one is 65' x 75'. He also has two horses; too old to ride now. Kind of a gloomy shot, little light, and looks desserted. There are normally atleast 2 or 3 trucks parked outside the shop.
